Seeing Double: Science Fiction Tropes and Feminist Themes in Orphan Black

This is the third zine created by Space and Time Collective, it is written by editor Caitlynn Fairbarns, with art by illustrator and designer Sophie Paas-Lang. Seeing Double is a farewell piece to a beloved medical science fiction television show, Orphan Black. Using a feminist lens and in-depth science fiction research, this zine looks at the how the representation of women in the show defies commonly depicted tropes in sci-fi.
